What sets apart San Antonio’s Best Places to Work? Just ask the companies’ employees.

It’s things like great benefits like health care coverage and retirement plans, an awesome workplace culture, flexibility in hours and time off, and great teamwork. The San Antonio Business Journal is proud to announce this year’s class of 75 Best Places to Work.

SABJ works with Quantum Workplace to survey the employees of those companies that have been nominated as a Best Place to Work. To be eligible, a company or organization, must have at least 10 full-time employees based in the Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Wilson, Atascosa, Bandera, or Kendall counties. We group them by size, small, or up to 49 employees; midsize, or 50 to 99 employees; large, 100 to 499 employees; and extra-large companies, 500 or more employees.

Quantum then sets about surveying those employees and then scoring them based on the answers to the 30 survey questions and how many employees responded to the survey.

The winners will be honored at a luncheon Thursday, July 18 at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch.

The bottom line, the happiness of a company’s employees is what makes a workplace rise to top.
